Overview
We are looking for a Procurement Coordination Executive &nbsp;in the chemical industry, preferably handling polymers, additives, masterbatches, or related raw materials. The role will focus on smart vendor supply management, negotiation, purchase coordination, and ensuring on-time, cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Coordination &amp; Execution

<li>Track order status end-to-end and proactively manage delays, shortages, or supply risks to ensure continuity.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain accurate procurement records including POs, supplier communication, and transaction history; prepare routine procurement reports.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Vendor Supply (Smart Vendor Management)
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery timelines, documentation, and any changes.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Support supplier evaluation, performance tracking, and issue resolution (quality deviations, shortages, documentation gaps).&nbsp;</li>
<li>Strengthen supplier relationships to improve reliability, lead times, and service levels.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Negotiation &amp; Cost Optimisation
<ul>
<li>Handle RFQs, comparative analysis, and assist in negotiations for best commercial terms without compromising quality.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work on cost optimisation initiatives by tracking market movement, price trends, and recommending alternatives where feasible.</li>
</ul>
Inventory &amp; Demand Coordination

<li>Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts/overstock; coordinate with internal stakeholders to align procurement planning with demand.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Support inventory controls and ensure timely procurement aligned to production/dispatch needs.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Compliance, Documentation &amp; Quality
<ul>
<li>Ensure procured materials meet required quality standards and comply with relevant chemical industry/regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Manage documentation required for vendor onboarding, contracts, and (where applicable) import/export or logistics paperwork.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Must-Have
<ul>
<li>3–4 years of procurement / sourcing / purchase coordination experience in chemical industry (polymers, additives, resins, masterbatches, specialty chemicals preferred).</li>
<li>Strong vendor coordination and negotiation capability.</li>
<li>Experience with RFQs, comparative statements, PO management, delivery follow-ups, and supplier issue resolution.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Working knowledge of ERP (SAP/Oracle/other procurement tools) and strong Excel skills.</li>
<li>Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills (internal teams + external suppliers).</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Supply Chain / Business (or equivalent).&nbsp;</li>
