<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">We are seeking a skilled Application Support Development Specialist to maintain the integrity, availability, and reliability of our Real-Time Information Systems (RTIS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for system administration, incident management, and interface development within the Oil &amp; Gas sector.</p>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Perform system health checks, implement remedial actions, and report on system integrity.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Maintain system availability targets and resolve incidents to ensure operational efficiency.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot system interfaces (OPC, API, etc.).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Implement technology solutions, including enhancements and security vulnerability fixes.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Support testing phases (UAT, Regression) for system changes and new projects.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Develop documentation and provide training/coaching to end-users and junior engineers.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system and data integrity.</p>

<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph"><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph"><strong>Education:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph"><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">A minimum of 10 years of combined experience in IT and Plant Information Systems / MES / RTIS within the Oil &amp; Gas industry.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Proven Aveva PI Engineering Services experience on at least three Oil &amp; Gas projects in the last five years.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Strong development experience with the latest versions of Aveva PI.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Hands-on experience with OPC, custom API interfaces, and Batch File interfaces.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph"><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Experience with PI-to-PI, PI-SAP interfaces, and tools like AF SDK, PI Vision, and PI WebAPI.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Familiarity with Pipeline Management Systems, Electronic Permit to Work, or Operator Round automation systems.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph"><strong>Personal Skills:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">Ability to work effectively with project stakeholders and produce clear, concise reports in English.</p>
