<h3>Role Overview</h3>
You will manage and support high-voltage operations within the electricity department. The role involves leading field activities, ensuring safe and reliable network performance, and supporting continuous power operations.
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>
Operate and maintain high-voltage equipment
</li>
<li>
Lead switching, isolation, tagging, and restoration procedures
</li>
<li>
Review technical drawings, schematics, and documentation
</li>
<li>
Inspect substations, feeders, and HV networks for abnormalities
</li>
<li>
Coordinate closely with control room and operations teams
</li>
<li>
Plan shutdowns, energization, and network reconfiguration tasks
</li>
<li>
Supervise contractors during field/maintenance activities
</li>
<li>
Ensure full compliance with safety standards and permit systems
</li>
<li>
Prepare reports and monitor network performance indicators
</li>
<li>
Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>
Minimum 15 years in high-voltage operations
</li>
<li>
Strong background in electricity department or utility-level work
</li>
<li>
Proven experience in substation operation and maintenance
</li>
<li>
Hands-on knowledge of protection systems, relays, and testing
</li>
<li>
Deep understanding of safety rules, permits, LOTO, and procedures
</li>
</ul>
