Job Title: L1 Engineer – Network Monitoring (Bilingual: Arabic/English)
Location: Doha, Qatar Experience: 3–5 Years
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented L1 Network Monitoring Engineer to support 24/7 network operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for real-time monitoring, initial incident response, and escalation of network issues while ensuring minimal service disruption. Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential for effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Monitor network infrastructure using monitoring tools (NMS) to ensure uptime and performance.</li>
<li>Detect, troubleshoot, and respond to network alerts and incidents in real time.</li>
<li>Perform initial diagnosis (L1 level) and escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams.</li>
<li>Maintain incident logs, update tickets, and ensure proper documentation.</li>
<li>Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalation matrices.</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.</li>
<li>Provide regular status updates and incident reports.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to SLAs and operational KPIs.</li>
<li>Support shift-based operations, including night shifts and weekends if required.</li>

Required Skills &amp; Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.</li>
<li>3–5 years of experience in network monitoring or NOC operations.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).</li>
<li>Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix).</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN/LAN environments.</li>
<li>Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).</li>
<li>Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.</li>
</ul>
Language Requirements
<ul>
<li>Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).</li>
</ul>
Preferred Certifications
<ul>
<li>CCNA or equivalent networking certification.</li>
<li>ITIL Foundation (preferred).</li>
