Job Title: Oracle &amp; MS Database Administrator (Bilingual – Arabic/English)
Location: Doha, Qatar Experience: 3–5 Years
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Oracle &amp; MS Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Arabic/English), with hands-on experience in both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Install, configure, and maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases</li>
<li>Monitor database performance, implement tuning, and ensure optimal efficiency</li>
<li>Manage database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies</li>
<li>Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards</li>
<li>Perform patching, upgrades, and migrations of database systems</li>
<li>Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution</li>
<li>Work closely with application teams to support database requirements</li>
<li>Automate routine database tasks and maintenance activities</li>
<li>Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies</li>
<li>Support high availability solutions such as clustering, replication, and failover setups</li>
</ul>
Required Skills &amp; Qualifications
<ul>
<li>3–5 years of experience in database administration</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience with:
<ul>
<li>Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later)</li>
<li>Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019 or later)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Experience with backup and recovery tools (RMAN, SQL Server Backup)</li>
<li>Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization</li>
<li>Familiarity with high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard, Always On)</li>
<li>Understanding of database security best practices</li>
<li>Experience with scripting (Shell, PowerShell, or similar)</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</li>
</ul>
Language Requirements
<ul>
<li>Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Microsoft SQL Certification</li>
<li>Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud)</li>
<li>Exposure to automation tools and DevOps practices</li>
</ul>
