Job Role: PMO Expert
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced PMO Expert to lead and enhance PMO governance, project portfolio management, strategic reporting, and enterprise project oversight within large-scale organizations and government environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in PMO frameworks, governance models, portfolio management, and organizational transformation initiatives.
Candidates with local market experience, government sector exposure, professional certifications, and Arabic language proficiency are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead the development and implementation of PMO governance frameworks and methodologies</li>
<li>Oversee project portfolio management, project prioritization, and strategic alignment</li>
<li>Monitor enterprise project performance, risks, budgets, and resource utilization</li>
<li>Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and strategic insights to leadership</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with PMO standards, policies, and governance requirements</li>
<li>Drive PMO maturity improvements, process optimization, and best practices</li>
<li>Support large-scale transformation and strategic initiatives</li>
<li>Manage stakeholder engagement across business, technology, and external partners</li>
<li>Conduct project health assessments, audits, and governance reviews</li>
<li>Mentor PMO teams, project managers, and analysts</li>
<li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance management activities</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering, or related field</li>
<li>8–15 years of experience in PMO, project governance, portfolio management, or enterprise project management</li>
<li>Strong local market experience is mandatory</li>
<li>Proven government or semi-government sector experience is required</li>
<li>Arabic speaking skills are preferred/mandatory</li>
<li>Strong expertise in PMO governance frameworks, portfolio management, and project delivery methodologies</li>
<li>Experience with enterprise reporting and PMO tools such as MS Project, Jira, Power BI, Primavera, or ServiceNow</li>
<li>Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage complex programs and enterprise-level initiatives</li>
</ul>
Preferred Certifications

<li>PMP (Project Management Professional)</li>
<li>PRINCE2 Practitioner</li>
<li>PgMP or PfMP Certifications</li>
