Position Title: Planning Analyst / Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Analyst / Specialist to support strategic planning, performance monitoring, project coordination, and operational planning activities. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, experience working within government or public-sector environments, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Support strategic and operational planning initiatives across departments.</li>
<li>Develop planning reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance tracking metrics.</li>
<li>Conduct data analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning activities.</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of planning objectives.</li>
<li>Prepare presentations, reports, and management updates for leadership review.</li>
<li>Monitor project timelines, risks, and planning deliverables.</li>
<li>Assist in policy, process improvement, and governance-related activities.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with organizational standards and government regulations.</li>
<li>Support planning workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation and reporting records.</li>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Planning, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.</li>
<li>Proven experience as a Planning Analyst, Planning Specialist, or similar role.</li>
<li>Mandatory local experience with government exposure.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.</li>
<li>Experience in strategic planning, project planning, or performance management.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Knowledge of planning tools, reporting systems, and dashboards is preferred.</li>
<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.</li>
</ul>
Experience Required
<ul>
<li>3–5 years of experience for Planning Analyst / Specialist roles.</li>
<li>Experience in strategic planning, project planning, reporting, performance management, or operational planning.</li>
<li>Mandatory local experience with government exposure.</li>
<li>Experience working with government entities, semi-government organizations, or large enterprises is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Prior experience in PMO, planning coordination, KPI tracking, or transformation projects is an advantage.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Relevant professional certifications are preferred.</li>
<li>Arabic Speaker is mandatory/preferred.</li>
<li>Experience working on government projects or within public-sector organizations.</li>
<li>PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or similar certifications will be an advantage.</li>
