Position Title: Planning Expert
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Expert to lead strategic planning, operational planning, performance management, and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in planning frameworks, KPI management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination, particularly within government or large-scale organizational environments.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead the development and implementation of strategic and operational planning frameworks.</li>
<li>Oversee planning activities, performance monitoring, and KPI management across departments.</li>
<li>Provide expert guidance on planning methodologies, governance, and process improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Develop executive dashboards, reports, forecasts, and strategic insights for leadership.</li>
<li>Ensure alignment between organizational objectives, projects, and operational plans.</li>
<li>Monitor risks, dependencies, and planning deliverables to ensure successful execution.</li>
<li>Collaborate with senior stakeholders and management teams on planning and transformation initiatives.</li>
<li>Support budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and performance evaluation activities.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and government regulations.</li>
<li>Mentor and support junior planning team members where required.</li>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.</li>
<li>Strong expertise in strategic planning, operational planning, PMO, or performance management.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting/dashboard tools.</li>
<li>Ability to manage complex planning initiatives and executive-level reporting.</li>
<li>Strong communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Mandatory local experience with government exposure.</li>
<li>Arabic Speaker preferred/mandatory.</li>
<li>Relevant professional certifications are preferred.</li>
<li>Experience working with government entities, transformation programs, or large enterprises is highly preferred.</li>
<li>PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or equivalent certifications will be an advantage.</li>
</ul>
Experience Required
<ul>
<li>8–12 years of relevant experience in planning, strategic planning, PMO, governance, or performance management.</li>
<li>Proven experience leading planning initiatives and managing stakeholder engagements in government or large organizations.</li>
<li>Experience in KPI management, executive reporting, forecasting, and operational planning is highly preferred.</li>
