The Role
We are hiring a Head of Product to own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution. This is a 0•1-to-1•10 role: you will define what we build next, work directly with founders and engineering, and be the connective tissue between deep battery-domain reality and world-class software product thinking. This is our most critical hire — we are looking for someone who has lived in a battery environment and can speak fluently in terms of kWh, voltage, current, and thermal behaviour, as well as revenue, cost, and unit economics.
What You'll Do
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Own the product roadmap end-to-end — from discovery to launch to iteration — across our data ingestion, AI monitoring, and automated-action layers.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Translate deep battery-domain complexity (chemistry, BMS behaviour, degradation curves, thermal risk) into a coherent, scalable software product.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Design and prioritise integrations across a highly fragmented ecosystem — legacy systems, ERPs, CRMs, OEM BMS platforms, and marketplaces.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Build and scale systems that reliably process hundreds of millions of data points per month with strong reliability and low operating cost.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Sit directly with customers — EV fleet operators, MSMEs, energy storage providers, banks, insurers, and recyclers — to translate ground-level pain into product decisions.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Partner closely with engineering to make sharp build-vs-buy and open-source-vs-proprietary calls, with a strong bias toward frugal, pragmatic tooling.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Define and own the metrics that matter — both technical (uptime, data accuracy, latency) and commercial (cost-to-serve, revenue impact, retention).
What We're Looking For (Non-Negotiables)
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Battery domain fluency: hands-on experience in a battery environment — genuinely conversant in kWh, km, voltage, current, and temperature, as well as revenue and cost. This is a hard filter.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Engineer by training: Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering background strongly preferred.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 0→1 builder: has built a product from scratch, not managed a mature product or owned a small feature within one.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proven scale: has operated products handling roughly 500M–1B transactions, data points, or messages per month.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Integration depth: hands-on experience integrating 100+ external systems — legacy platforms, ERPs, CRMs, and marketplaces — with a strong open-source orientation and frugality with tooling.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Customer-facing comfort: at ease talking to EV users, MSMEs, energy storage providers, banks, insurers, financial services firms, and recyclers directly.
