Role Overview
We are looking for a QC Supervisor with a strong background in printing, packaging or labels to oversee quality control across the production process and ensure that finished products consistently meet customer and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Supervise QC activities across printing, finishing, slitting, die-cutting and packing.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process production and finished labels.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Check print quality, colour, registration, dimensions, die-cutting, adhesive performance and customer specifications.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Identify defects, investigate root causes and coordinate corrective actions with production.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Approve or reject production batches based on defined quality standards.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain QC records, inspection reports and customer-specific quality requirements.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct first-off/sample approvals and ensure production follows approved artwork and specifications.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Handle customer quality complaints, support root-cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Work closely with Production, Artwork, Planning and Sales teams to resolve quality issues.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure proper segregation and identification of rejected/non-conforming material.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Train QC/production personnel on quality standards and inspection procedures.
Must-Have
·&nbsp;&nbsp; 3+ years of experience in the printing, packaging, label or related industry.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Practical understanding of printing and finishing processes.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience in QC/QA in a manufacturing environment.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Good understanding of common print defects and their causes.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to read and understand job specifications, artwork and production requirements.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong attention to detail and ownership of quality issues.
Good to Have
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience with flexographic, offset or digital printing.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Exposure to self-adhesive labels, BOPP, IML or wet-glue labels.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of colour matching, Pantone standards and basic measurement/instrumentation.
·&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience handling customer complaints and quality audits.
