Job Overview
We are looking for a commercially driven Sales &amp; Project/R&amp;D Testing Coordinator to develop business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
The role combines B2B business development, sales, client relationship management, technical coordination, and project coordination. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, identifying relevant pharmaceutical testing and R&amp;D opportunities, coordinating with internal technical teams and laboratories, and converting opportunities into revenue.
The ideal candidate should have experience in pharmaceutical sales, analytical testing services, CRO/CDMO, pharmaceutical R&amp;D, laboratory services, or related life sciences businesses.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.</li>
<li>Build and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical companies, R&amp;D teams, QA/QC teams, manufacturing organizations, and procurement teams.</li>
<li>Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate testing, analytical, R&amp;D, QA, or regulatory support services.</li>
<li>Coordinate with technical, R&amp;D, laboratory, and project teams to understand feasibility, timelines, and requirements.</li>
<li>Prepare and coordinate quotations, proposals, commercial discussions, and project documentation.</li>
<li>Manage prospects and clients throughout the sales cycle and convert opportunities into confirmed projects.</li>
<li>Coordinate projects from initial client requirement through testing/service delivery and closure.</li>
<li>Maintain and manage a strong sales pipeline.</li>
<li>Track leads, opportunities, proposals, conversions, and revenue.</li>
<li>Develop repeat business and maintain long-term client relationships.</li>
<li>Achieve defined monthly and quarterly revenue targets.</li>
<li>Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities among existing clients.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of client communication, requirements, proposals, and project status.</li>
<li>Travel for client meetings whenever required.</li>

Revenue Responsibility
The role has a strong focus on business generation and revenue growth. The candidate will be expected to build a consistent client pipeline and progressively contribute toward approximately ₹10 lakh–₹50 lakh in monthly business, depending on experience, market opportunity, client acquisition, and performance.
The candidate should be comfortable with B2B sales, target-driven business development, negotiation, client acquisition, and converting technical requirements into commercial opportunities.
Required Experience &amp; Skills
<ul>
<li>2–6 years of relevant professional experience.</li>
<li>Experience in pharmaceutical sales, analytical testing services, CRO/CDMO, pharmaceutical R&amp;D, laboratory services, or related life sciences businesses.</li>
<li>Understanding of the pharmaceutical testing and R&amp;D ecosystem.</li>
<li>Strong B2B sales and business development capabilities.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Ability to understand client requirements and coordinate with technical experts.</li>
<li>Strong client relationship management and networking skills.</li>
<li>Ability to identify decision-makers and develop long-term client relationships.</li>
<li>Strong follow-up and lead-conversion capabilities.</li>
<li>Target-oriented and commercially driven approach.</li>
<li>Ability to independently develop and manage a sales pipeline.</li>
<li>Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.</li>
