<div>Responsibilities:</div><div>• Lead, coach and mentor a team of 3-4 Leads and a team of 25-35 top notch</div><div>• Engineers so they all learn, grow, and succeed.</div><div>• Strong People leadership, Mentoring and communication skills.</div><div>• Plan and prioritise work for your team, including collaborating with cross border teams.</div><div>• Provide oversight and accountability for technical decisions.</div><div>• Create an inclusive environment that attracts and retains high-performing engineers.</div><div>• You will collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, QA and DevOps Engineers in an agile development</div><div>environment.</div><div>• Constantly learn and grow as an engineer and an engineering leader.</div><div>• Demonstrate a passion for customers and technology.</div><div><br></div><div>Requirements:</div><div>• 12+ years Software development experience in fast-paced product organisation</div><div>• Lead product engineering and platform teams</div><div>• Hands on experience building microservices architecture, applying design patterns and developing frameworks</div><div>• Experience in developing and leading teams building solution with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)</div><div>• Extensive experience in using open-source technologies: Proficiency in any of the languages (Preferred Java),</div><div>Front-end technologies (react/angular), No-SQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra), Elastic Search, Caching (Redis,</div><div>Aerospike), using containers e. g. Docker (K8 EKS etc) at scale.</div><div>• Good exposure to development tools, Git, Jenkins, code review tools &amp; amp; introducing best coding practices.</div><div>• Strong hands-on experience in enabling a CI &amp; amp; CD pipeline, canary deployments, blue</div><div>• green deployments in production.</div><div>• Work with the support team to define how the applications are supported in production, including system</div><div>performance and monitoring &amp; amp; Strong database skills</div><div>• Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers</div><div>• Consistent track record for solution delivery, Quality improvements, Champion for agile scrum adoption.</div><div>• Have a strong focus on business outcomes</div><div>• Are comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders</div><div>• Are self-motivated and can get things done</div><div>• Have the ability to communicate and defend your ideas clearly</div><div>• Have a strong knowledge of threading, concurrency, scaling, and high availability.</div><div>• Have a desire to build products that users love</div><div>• Stay current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education</div><div><br></div>
