The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience, primarily in the Indian lending industry, and expertise in both secured and unsecured products. You will handle legal filings, recovery notices, agreements, arbitration, and other legal matters.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>:</div><ul><li>Filing and managing cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.</li><li>Handle legal matters related to both secured and unsecured lending, with a thorough understanding of the Indian lending landscape.</li><li>Drafting, revising, and negotiating legal agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.</li><li>Manage debenture-related legal matters, including knowledge of secured and unsecured debentures.</li><li>Send and respond to legal recovery notices for overdue payments, collaborating closely with the collections team.</li><li>Represent the company in arbitration proceedings and provide guidance on dispute resolution strategies.</li><li>Provide general legal advice to the business, focusing on risk management and legal recovery.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.</li><li>4-7 years of relevant experience in the lending or financial services industry.</li><li>Proven experience in handling legal recovery cases and working with collections teams.</li><li>Strong knowledge of arbitration proceedings and dispute resolution in both secured and unsecured lending contexts.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a high-paced startup environment.</li><li>Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for legal agreements.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Preferred Skills</strong>:</div><ul><li>Prior experience working with legal recovery teams.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Indian legal procedures in relation to financial recoveries.</li><li>Proactive and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously.</li></ul><div><br></div>
