Promo Writer – US Market (English) Product:&nbsp;Storizz&nbsp;– Short-form storytelling &amp; microdrama app&nbsp;About the Role We’re hiring a Promo Writer&nbsp;who can write in&nbsp;English&nbsp;but&nbsp;think like the US audience. This role is&nbsp;not&nbsp;about generic English copy.&nbsp;It’s about understanding&nbsp;US viewing behavior, emotional triggers, pacing, and cultural context—and translating that into&nbsp;scroll-stopping promo scripts&nbsp;for short-form series and microdramas. If you’ve studied (or worked on) platforms like&nbsp;US, ReelShort, DramaBox, Netflix shorts, TikTok series, or YouTube Originals, you’ll feel right at home. What You’ll Do -Write&nbsp;high-impact English promo scripts&nbsp;for microdramas targeted specifically at the&nbsp;US audience. -Craft hooks that work in the&nbsp;first 2–5 seconds&nbsp;and sustain intrigue till the payoff. -Study and reverse-engineer&nbsp;top-performing US promos&nbsp;(ads, trailers, short-form clips) to identify repeatable narrative patterns. -Collaborate with&nbsp;growth, performance marketing, editors, and show teams&nbsp;to optimize promos for conversions and retention. -Adapt tone, pacing, and emotional beats based on&nbsp;US audience psychology, not Indian storytelling norms.-Stay updated with&nbsp;US pop culture, OTT trends, storytelling formats, and ad creatives.-Move fast in a high-volume environment without losing narrative sharpness. What We’re Looking For - 2 – 5&nbsp; years of experience&nbsp;in promo writing, short-form storytelling, or trailer writing in&nbsp;English. -Proven exposure to or deep understanding of the&nbsp;US content market&nbsp;(via work, research, or scaled products). -Strong grasp of&nbsp;dramatic tension, cliffhangers, emotional hooks, and character-driven narratives. -Excellent command over&nbsp;written English&nbsp;with strong sense of rhythm, subtext, and punch. -Ability to think like a&nbsp;writer + marketer—you care about what converts, not just what reads well.-Comfortable working from India while aligning closely with&nbsp;US audience sensibilities.Bonus (not mandatory, but spicy):-Experience working on or closely analyzing&nbsp;ReelShort, or similar story apps-Background in OTT, digital video, or performance-driven creative teams&nbsp;Why Storizz Storizz is building binge-worthy short-form stories for global audiences—starting with scale-ready markets like the US.
