<p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for a Backend Developer with 1-2 years of experience in Java or Python to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend systems. You will collaborate with frontend/mobile developers, product teams, and other engineers to develop APIs and services that power user-facing products.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java or Python.</li>
<li>Build scalable and maintainable server-side components.</li>
<li>Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.</li>
<li>Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases and write efficient queries.</li>
<li>Debug production issues and improve application performance and reliability.</li>
<li>Write clean, modular, testable, and well-documented code.</li>
<li>Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.</li>
<li>Collaborate with frontend, mobile, product, and other cross-functional teams.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1-2 years of professional backend development experience.</li>
<li>Strong programming skills in either Java or Python.</li>
<li>Experience building REST APIs and backend services.</li>
<li>Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and software engineering fundamentals.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of SQL and databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL; exposure to NoSQL is a plus.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Git and version control.</li>
<li>Good debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Good to Have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>For Java: experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.</li>
<li>For Python: experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.</li>
<li>Exposure to caching, message queues, cloud platforms, microservices, or containerization.</li>
