<p>About the Role:<br><br>We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Accounts Payable to own the end-to-end AP process, including<br>vendor onboarding, invoicing, payments, query resolution, and expense reimbursements. You will ensure the<br>function runs smoothly, stays compliant, and continues to improve.<br><br>Your Job:<br>● Manage and guide a team of Accounts Payable specialists, ensuring efficient operations and<br>adherence to company policy<br>● Process and approve vendor invoices, coordinating with cross-functional teams to secure timely<br>approvals<br>● Oversee payment processing and resolve Accounts Payable queries<br>● Ensure invoices meet India tax requirements and proper tax invoice standards (GST); liaise<br>directly with vendors on compliance where needed<br>● Partner with Procurement, Accounting, and IT to improve processes, drive automation initiatives,<br>and strengthen information flow across teams<br>● Maintain accurate documentation and records to meet India Income tax , GST and statutory<br>requirements</p>
<p>Who is the best fit?<br>● 4-5+ years of experience in increased responsibility in the full cycle procure to pay process,<br>preferably with fast growing start ups.<br>● Strong understanding of Accounts Payable functions including vendor set-up, invoicing,<br>payments, statutory deductions and compliance of TDS, GST etc.<br>● Understand documentation requirements of foreign payments and account / pay the same in line<br>with the applicable laws<br>● Planning and executing monthly closure activities<br>● Strong skills in process controls, MS Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint),<br>and ERP systems (e.g Oracle; Net-suite).<br>● Experience with AP automation tools and process automation<br>● Problem-solver who can identify and resolve issues including the ability to execute on automation<br>and process improvement projects<br>● Bachelor"s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, CA-IPCC Passout<br><br></p>
