Employment Attorney (3–5 Years Experience)

We are seeking an Employment Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join our Omaha office. The ideal candidate is a management-side employment law generalist with a strong balance of litigation and advisory experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, acting as a trusted advisor to employers while also leading litigation efforts:

<li>Represent employers in employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims</li>
<li>Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation</li>
<li>Counsel corporate clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws</li>
<li>Draft and review employment-related documents such as policies, handbooks, and employment agreements</li>
<li>Handle administrative proceedings before agencies such as the EEOC and Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission</li>
<li>Provide proactive, day-to-day legal guidance to clients on workplace issues, risk mitigation, and best practices</li>
<li>Support internal employment-related matters within the firm as needed</li>
<li>Partner closely with leadership to help build and scale the firm’s employment law practice</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>J.D. from an accredited law school</li>
<li>Licensed and in good standing (Nebraska or ability to waive in)</li>
<li>3–5 years of employment law experience (management-side preferred)</li>
<li>Experience with both litigation and counseling work</li>
<li>Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills</li>
