About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Industry Mentor to coach and upskill learners in Odia. This role combines technical mentoring, project reviews, and interview preparation for learners building practical, industry-ready Machine Learning solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on AI/ML industry experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and guide learners effectively.
Role &amp; Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>
Conduct live mentoring sessions and technical office hours in Odia, covering core AI/ML concepts, frameworks, and industry best practices.
</li>
<li>
Review learners' code, notebooks, and capstone projects and provide actionable technical feedback.
</li>
<li>
Guide learners on data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, training, evaluation, and deployment.
</li>
<li>
Help learners debug Python and machine learning code and resolve technical challenges.
</li>
<li>
Conduct technical assessments, mock interviews, and project reviews to prepare learners for AI/ML industry opportunities.
</li>
<li>
Help learners understand real-world AI/ML engineering practices and production considerations.
</li>
<li>
Share practical industry use cases and best practices in AI/ML.
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with curriculum and product teams to improve course content and practical assignments.
</li>
<li>
Track learner progress and identify challenges that require additional support.
</li>
</ul>
Skills &amp; Qualifications Must-Have
<ul>
<li>
2+ years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning.
</li>
<li>
Strong Python programming skills.
</li>
<li>
Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
</li>
<li>
Strong understanding of Scikit-learn and ML model evaluation.
</li>
<li>
Good understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, supervised and unsupervised learning, and model evaluation.
</li>
<li>
Practical experience working on AI/ML projects and deployment.
</li>
<li>
Prior experience in mentoring, teaching, training, or technical coaching.
</li>
<li>
Strong Odia communication skills — verbal and written.
</li>
<li>
Ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts in a simple and practical manner.
