ABOUT THE ROLE

Medico Hub is looking for a dynamic, professional and target-oriented MBA-qualified Business Development professional to join our Lucknow team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, visiting hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, schools and educational institutions, generating recruitment requirements and building long-term client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Business Development
• Identify and generate new business opportunities in Lucknow and across Uttar Pradesh.
• Develop a strong pipeline of prospective hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, schools and other institutions.
• Generate qualified leads through field visits, references, networking, calls, meetings and other business development activities.
• Convert potential leads into active clients and recruitment requirements.

2. Hospital &amp; Healthcare Client Acquisition
• Regularly visit hospitals, multispecialty hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres.
• Meet HR managers, hospital administrators, directors, owners and other decision-makers.
• Understand their manpower and recruitment requirements.
• Generate requirements for Doctors, Specialists, Super-Specialists, Nursing Staff, RMO/DMO/EMO and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain regular follow-up with healthcare clients until the requirement is successfully onboarded.

3. School &amp; Education Sector Business Development
• Visit schools, colleges and educational institutions to identify staffing and recruitment requirements.
• Develop relationships with management, HR and administrative teams.
• Generate relevant manpower requirements and coordinate with the internal team for fulfilment.

4. Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Regularly follow up with clients regarding open positions and recruitment requirements.
• Understand client expectations regarding qualification, experience, salary, location and joining timelines.
• Ensure smooth coordination between clients, candidates and the internal recruitment team.

5. Recruitment Coordination
• Collect complete and accurate job requirements from clients.
• Share requirements with the Medico Hub recruitment team.
• Coordinate with recruiters regarding candidate availability and profiles.
• Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating between candidates and clients.
• Follow up on shortlisted candidates until interview, selection, offer and joining.
• Support the team in closing recruitment assignments successfully.

6. Sales &amp; Revenue Generation
• Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.
• Generate recruitment business and contribute towards company revenue.
• Negotiate commercial terms with clients within the authority provided by management.
• Maintain regular follow-ups to convert leads into revenue-generating clients.

7. Field Visits &amp; Market Development
• Conduct daily/weekly field visits as per business requirements.
• Map hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, schools and other potential institutions in the assigned territory.
• Identify new markets and business opportunities.
• Maintain a systematic record of client visits, meetings, leads and follow-ups.

8. Reporting &amp; Documentation
• Maintain daily/weekly reports of client visits and business development activities.
• Maintain lead and follow-up records.
• Update management regarding new opportunities, client discussions and requirement status.
• Maintain accurate information regarding clients and their recruitment requirements.

9. Coordination with Management
• Regularly communicate business progress to the management team.
• Discuss challenges, market feedback and potential opportunities.
• Coordinate with the recruitment and backend teams to ensure timely fulfilment of requirements.
• Participate in meetings, presentations and business review sessions as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS

PREFERRED CANDIDATE

• MBA in Marketing, Sales, Business Development or a related specialization.
• Candidates with experience in Healthcare Recruitment, Hospital Business Development, Healthcare B2B Sales, Staffing, EdTech or Institutional Sales will be preferred.
• Candidates who are comfortable with regular field visits and client meetings will be preferred.
• Candidates with an existing network in hospitals, healthcare institutions or educational organizations will be an added advantage.

• Number of new clients acquired.
• Number of qualified recruitment requirements generated.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Full-time position based in Lucknow.
• The role involves regular field visits and meetings with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, schools and other institutions.
• Candidate should be comfortable with target-based business development.
• Local travel for business meetings and client visits will be required as per company policy.
