<div>We are looking for a Director of Engineering for an AI Powered B2B Platform</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Job Profile:</strong></div><div>Direct a team of engineering managers and developers creating highly scalable, performant, easily maintainable &amp; well-tested product features</div><div>Lead a team of 40+ based out of Bangalore largely, extended in the US</div><div>Develop and maintain an extremely strong culture of engineering innovation</div><div>Exude a strong sense of feature &amp; delivery ownership, agility, and an urge for continuous learning</div><div>Ensure the delivery of multiple technical initiatives, from design to agile development &amp; delivery phases. Collaborate closely with the DevSecOps team to help optimize the operations pipeline.</div><div>Help creatively solve business problems by supporting the necessary backend, frontend, and API infrastructures</div><div>Empower the delivery teams to self-organize</div><div>Constantly lookout for engineering talents that can help us scale newer heights. Deeply involved in talent acquisition practices</div><div>Evaluate engineering requirements and design proposals in a technical capacity, in collaboration with Product Management, System Architecture, QA &amp; Customer Success teams</div><div>Effectively collaborate with other teams across the organization to meet the release expectations</div><div>Be in touch with the latest frameworks in the industry, and be influential in all choices related to the SaaS application stack</div><div>Evaluate requirements and work with PMO to create delivery plans</div><div>Effectively facilitate daily stand-ups, early risk identification, and mitigation, dependency resolution, follow-ups for gap-closure, etc.</div><div>Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and engineer</div><div>Make critical decisions that attribute to the success of the product</div><div>Proactive in foreseeing &amp; resolving issues before they occur</div><div>Responsible for operating a development process that enforces best practices</div><div>Constantly scout for and operationalize the necessary tools required to enable a highly efficient engineering process</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Requirement:</strong></div><div>15+ years of professional software development experience, which includes substantial &amp; demonstrable implementation expertise using Stack: Java + Microservices + Distributed Systems</div><div>6+ years of direct people management experience in a techno-managerial capacity</div><div>Node.JS/ Golang preferred</div><div>NoSQL / MongoDB preferred</div><div>React.js – preferred</div><div>Strong HLD/LLD + Agile/Scrum/Jira</div><div>Any Cloud exp is mandatory (4+ yrs) / AWS preferred</div><div>Strong ability to write and evaluate code</div><div>Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time</div><div>Extensive prior work with cloud-based SaaS platform(s); broad experience developing high-throughput backend systems, microservices, API layers, etc.</div><div>Working experience in Spring, Spring Boot, or related java frameworks, RESTful API design and development, event-driven architecture</div><div>Knowledge of distributed systems, proficiency working in Linux environment</div><div>Strong Software development fundamentals, architecture, algorithms, and problem-solving skills</div><div>Deep understanding of observability concepts and tooling.</div><div>Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and attention to details</div><div>Preferred :</div><div>Experience working with HTML/CSS, React/Angular frameworks</div><div>Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB</div><div>Experience working in a load-balanced, large, stateless microservices environment</div><div>Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or a related field</div>
