<div><strong>Role &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Work closely with Senior Engineers, Architects, Frontend developers , and Product Management teams to design and arrive at best architectural approach, choose most appropriate frameworks, code and deliver</li><li>Lead the backend development team and plan the tasks</li><li>Mentor junior developers</li><li>Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve applications</li><li>Follow new and emerging technologies</li><li>A self­ starter, who loves to take on hard problems, loves solving service scalability problems, enjoys breaking things and enthusiastic to learn new technologies and working in startup environments</li></ul><div><strong>Ideal Candidate:</strong></div><ul><li>Minimum 8+ of excellent programming experience in Python, Django framework.</li><li>Experience in developing scalable web applications using Python and SQL/NoSQL databases</li><li>Demonstrated experience as a lead backend developer on a long term project –– shepherding it from ideation to delivery, and coordinating effort from individual contributors</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage your own project, and communicate progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Diligence writing documentation and tests for your projects</li><li>Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and an interest in learning more</li><li>Eye for detail and identifying problems</li><li>Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.</li><li>Good analytical and problem- solving skills.</li><li>Knowledge/Experience in the following technologies will be an added plus: Elasticsearch, Kafka, Apache Spark, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop</li><li>Interest and aptitude to learn new technologies and domains</li></ul><div><br></div>
