Key Responsibilities

<li>Design normalized, scalable database schemas from the ground up.</li>
<li>Write and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers.</li>
<li>Develop and optimize complex production SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, views).</li>
<li>Tune query performance using execution plans and indexing strategies.</li>
<li>Own migrations and data integrity across releases.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot production DB issues.</li>
<li>Partner with app developers on efficient data models (support role, not building the app layer).</li>

Job Requirements
<ul>
<li>4 + years of experience where SQL/RDBMS engineering is the primary, career-defining skill.</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle (Postgres preferred).</li>
<li>Proven experience designing normalized, scalable database schemas&nbsp;from scratch&nbsp;(schema design, ER modeling, data modeling for scale).</li>
<li>Excellent SQL skills, including:</li>

<li>Views</li>
<li>Stored Procedures (writing, not just calling)</li>
