 About the role -
You will own One Percent Club's social media strategy end to end: what we say, where we say it, and whether it is working. That means setting the channel plan, running the content calendar, guiding creators and designers, and reporting on growth to leadership.
This is a strategy-first role with hands-on execution. You will decide the direction and also be close enough to the work to fix a weak hook or a bad caption yourself.
What you'll do -&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>
Set the strategy - Define goals, audiences, and the role of each channel (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and whatever comes next). Revisit it every quarter.
</li>
<li>
Run the content calendar - Plan themes, formats, and posting cadence across platforms, balancing evergreen education with timely, trend-led content.
</li>
<li>
Lead the content engine - Brief and review work from writers, video editors, designers, and creators. Set the quality bar for hooks, scripts, thumbnails, and captions.
</li>
<li>
Grow the audience - Drive follower growth, reach, and engagement. Find and test new formats, collaborations, and creator partnerships.
</li>
<li>
Measure and report - Track performance weekly, run experiments, and turn the numbers into clear decisions. Present monthly results to founders and leadership.
</li>
<li>
Manage community - Set the tone for comments and DMs, flag recurring questions to the product and content teams, and handle escalations.
</li>
<li>
Protect the brand - Keep content accurate, compliant with financial-content guidelines, and consistent in voice. Own the response plan when something goes wrong publicly.
</li>
<li>
Work across teams - Partner with marketing, product, and community to support launches, campaigns, and paid amplification.
</li>
</ul>
What success looks like -
<ul>
<li>
By 30 days: Audited every channel, mapped what's working, and shared a first-pass strategy with leadership.
</li>
<li>
By 90 days: A running content calendar, a weekly reporting rhythm, and at least three format experiments shipped and reviewed.
</li>
<li>
By 180 days: Measurable growth in reach and engagement against agreed targets, and a content team that runs to your playbook.
</li>
</ul>
What we're looking for -&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>
4 to 7 years in social media or content marketing, with at least 2 years owning strategy for a brand or creator-led business.
</li>
<li>
A track record of growing audiences, with numbers you can walk us through.
</li>
<li>
Deep, current knowledge of how Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn reward content, and how that is changing.
</li>
<li>
Strong editorial judgment: you can tell a good hook from a weak one and explain why.
</li>
<li>
Comfort with data. You read platform analytics fluently and turn them into decisions, not just reports.
</li>
<li>
Experience briefing and managing writers, editors, designers, or creators.
</li>
<li>
Clear, confident communication with founders and senior stakeholders.
</li>
</ul>
Nice to have -
<ul>
<li>
Experience in personal finance, fintech, or edtech content.
</li>
<li>
Familiarity with SEBI or ASCI guidelines for financial content and influencer disclosures.
</li>
<li>
Hands-on short-form video skills: scripting, basic editing, or on-camera presence.
</li>
<li>
Experience running paid social alongside organic.
</li>
<li>
Creator or influencer partnership experience in the Indian market.
</li>
</ul>
