Position Overview We’re seeking compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Direct Care Staff to deliver 24-hour support in our Residential Group Homes. You’ll work closely with residents to promote their independence, safety, dignity, and inclusion in the community.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver day-to-day personal care: assist with hygiene, mealtimes, medication reminders, and mobility.
</li>
<li>
Support daily living skills: dressing, meal prep, household tasks, money handling, and routine planning.
</li>
<li>
Engage residents in social, educational, and community activities—like our Day Habilitation programs.
</li>
<li>
Encourage independence through modeling, coaching, and reinforcement of life skills.
</li>
<li>
Monitor and document each resident’s progress, behavior, and well-being.
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with behavioral specialists to implement tailored support plans.
</li>
<li>
Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing home environment.
</li>
<li>
Serve as a positive, respectful, and consistent presence for residents.
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education/training in IDD support or caregiving a plus.
</li>
<li>
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
</li>
<li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
</li>
<li>
Ability to work varied shifts (including some nights, weekends, or holidays).
</li>
<li>
Background check and mandatory training compliance.
</li>
<li>
Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred—but not essential; we welcome enthusiastic individuals with transferable caregiving experience.
