We are looking for an experienced Snowflake / SQL Developer with 6–10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT development, and cloud-based data platforms.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Advanced SQL, with experience in developing scalable data warehouse solutions, building ETL/ELT pipelines, optimizing queries, implementing data security, and supporting analytics and reporting requirements.
Experience with AWS and Python is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions.</li>
<li>Develop complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and data transformations.</li>
<li>Work extensively with Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, warehouses, and file formats.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for batch and incremental data processing.</li>
<li>Implement and manage Snowflake Streams, Tasks, and Snowpipe.</li>
<li>Perform SQL and Snowflake query optimization and performance tuning.</li>
<li>Implement data loading, transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.</li>
<li>Design and maintain data models including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, fact and dimension tables.</li>
<li>Implement appropriate Snowflake security, RBAC, and access controls.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and performance issues.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, Analysts, and business stakeholders.</li>
<li>Follow Git, CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps practices.</li>
<li>Develop Python scripts for automation and data processing where required.</li>
<li>Work with AWS services such as S3, Glue, IAM, and Lambda where applicable.</li>
<li>Prepare technical documentation and participate in knowledge-sharing activities.</li>
