About the team
The Product Operations function at Tickertape sits at the heart of how our products actually work for users day to day - across investing, subscriptions, and digital gold. We work closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Experience (CX) teams, and directly with external partners across brokerage, KYC/verification, payments, and gold to keep onboarding, transactions, and account servicing running reliably.
About the role
As a Product Operations Associate, you will own end-to-end operational health across Tickertape's core products - from monitoring and resolving issues in real time, to identifying process gaps, setting up automations, and raising product requirements when operational issues point to a deeper product fix. You'll be the primary point of contact for select external partners and the L1 escalation point for CX on operational queries. You will report to the Product team, and be based out of Bangalore.
What you'll be doing:

<li>
Own the health of user onboarding - monitoring KYC and account-activation flows end to end, and flagging errors or drop-offs to the product team for prioritisation
</li>
<li>
Manage partner-facing operations across banking, payments, and settlement - tracking SLAs, resolving delays and discrepancies, and acting as the point of contact for partner escalations and new integrations
</li>
<li>
Monitor payment and transaction health across the board - success/failure rates, ledger reconciliation, and root-causing any surges in issues
</li>
<li>
Act as the L1 point of contact for CX on operational queries across products, and work with product/CX to build durable self-serve or CX-led resolution paths where possible
</li>
<li>
Own cross-product processes that cut across our different offerings (for example, account-detail changes that touch multiple systems at once) - these need a single owner to drive end to end
</li>
<li>
Proactively identify where manual, repeatable ops work can be automated, and drive that automation
</li>
<li>
Raise clear, well-scoped product requirements when an operational issue is a symptom of a product gap that needs fixing to scale
</li>
</ul>
What we look for in you:
<ul>
<li>
1-3 years of experience in operations, preferably in fintech, broking, or payments-heavy product environments
</li>
<li>
Strong sense of ownership: proactively drives resolution across multiple concern areas rather than waiting to be assigned tasks, and owns processes end to end
</li>
<li>
Comfort managing multiple external partners independently, escalating and following through to resolution
</li>
<li>
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking, reconciliation, and reporting; comfort working with ledgers and transaction-level data
</li>
<li>
Strong written and verbal communication - confident drafting partner-facing emails and summarising issues clearly for internal stakeholders
</li>
<li>
Ability to identify when a recurring operational issue warrants automation or a product fix, and to scope that clearly for the product team
</li>
</ul>
Nice to-haves:
<ul>
<li>
Prior experience in KYC/onboarding compliance, cross-border payments/remittance, or investment operations
</li>
<li>
Working knowledge of or interest in learning SQL/analytics tools for data pulls and reporting
</li>
<li>
Experience setting up lightweight automations (scripts, workflow tools) to reduce manual ops load
</li>
<li>
Detail-oriented with a structured, first-principles approach to problem-solving
</li>
